OFFICIAL MARINER NECKERCHIEF
FIRST VERSION, #GSM-1 1936 – 1940
Mariner Girl Scouts was deemed official in 1934, and their charming uniform became available. The official Mariner Uniform Neckerchief was BLACK with a WHITE and GOLD INSIGNIA.  The original fabric was, "Soisette" 1934-35.  Since I cannot find exactly what Soisette is, I'm going with "Mercerized Cotton" 1936-40.  A special Mariner neckerchief was available on and off until 1952.  This is from my personal collection and it is Pristine.  There are no flaws, no rips holes or fading.  It measures approximately 53 inches on the long side and 36 inches on the short sides... by far the largest of all the neckerchief I have had.  I have disbanded my collection of neckerchiefs because I never could find the last color: Brown.  This is one of 15 Neckerchiefs I have listed for sale.  Click on Uniforms on the left of this page to see some unique and colorful pieces
