Description
These coins are made of solid brass with a 3D Obverse and Reverse and has a UV protective coating. These are 2" coins and weight 2.3 oz.These challenge coins commemorate the revolutionary war Battle of Brier Creek on 3 March 1779. We are selling these coins to help raise money for the preservation of the Brier Creek battlefield which is about 20 minutes from my house in Screven County, GA and I had an ancestor Capt. Matthew Jouett, Caswell County Militia from North Carolina that was present for this battle.
I am a member of the Brier Creek Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, Georgia Society and I serve on the Board of the Brier Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield Association.
100% of all money raised from these challenge coins go directly to the battlefield association.
