This beautiful shell is best known for those who smudge and cleanse with Native American herbs. Used for holding smudge sticks, loose herbs, incense, cones and resin as well as a clean holder for crystals, treasures and more. Many also use this shell as an altar bowl. No matter the use it holds a certain spirit to it as it is a product of our natural earth. No two shells are alike and no two sizes are the same. That is the main reason it is used for such spiritually connected ceremonies.
The sizes of our bowls very slightly ranging for 5 to 6 inches long, some longer. Width wise they range 4.5 to 5.5 inches. In height they are 1.5 to 2.25 inches. Again these are 100% made by Mother Nature so sizes vary.
Be sure if you are burning charcoal tablets for burning resins such as copal, frankincense and myrrh, you will need to put an inch of sand in the bottom of the bowl to prevent the shell from getting too hot and burning you or the surface it is on.
