Brought from the village of Quiquijana in the mountains near Cusco - Peru.
This type of Poncho are used by the Andean Shamans  from villages in the mountains of the Sicuani Cusco. It is hand made with the Awayu or Aguayo method. The designs are Incan geometrical designs. The work put in this poncho is absolutely unique. The owner mentioned that, it took almost two months to finish this poncho.

Aguayo or "Awayu" is part of Andean cosmology.The aguayo is a hand-woven fabric with alpaca, llama or sheep wool, it is dyed with natural vibrant color.
