Offered for your consideration is this Antique Stove Cast Iron Lid / Burner Simmer Cover Register No Burn Cereal Grate Plate circa late 1800’s. On the front there is raised lettering of “RAISE REGISTER AND CEREALS WILL NEVER BURN” & on the backside it is a bit harder to decipher but it reads “8 & 9 INCH SIMMER COVER REGISTER  | 39”.  Has a diameter of 6-3/4”. Cast iron has no repairs or cracks & may have slight carbon build up but it is all original patina. This item is ready to be used, displayed, or repurposed in any country, farmhouse, cottage, bunkhouse, or camp setting.
