This cork
replaces
the original cork that came with the 1940's - 1950's
Stanley N943 "Super Vac" Thermos
, which some say is the finest thermos ever.
The corks for the
N944
and
N945
are the same as that for the
N943
,
so this should work for those models as well.
We have tested this cork for quite some time now on our own
N943
and
N944
Stanley Super Vac
Thermoses
with both hot and cold liquid.
It has performed perfectly!
We have sold
100's
of these to very happy customers,
and we continue to use this corked thermos daily to keep our own coffee fresh and hot!

significant
difference between the two is the length.

In my test
, this didn’t seem to make any difference at all.
Both our
Stanley N943 and Stanley N944
performed just as expected.
If you have a Thermos other than the N943, N944, or N945, I cannot vouch for its reliability,
however, if you send me your thermos model, I will try to help.
Corks are a natural material with excellent sealing and insulating properties.
These corks come from the leading producer of high quality corks and
are sustainably harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree.  There are
natural crevices and inclusions called "lenticels"
in these corks.

!!  These lenticels do not
impact the sealing quality, which, with these corks is
EXTRA SELECT GRADE
.  This grade has fewer lenticels than Standard Grades, or even the Premium Grade depicted. In fact, it has the fewest lenticels of any commercially available replacement cork.  We receive them in bulk packaging and ship them to you wrapped in bubble wrap, or in a clear plastic resealable bag for convenient storage.
