Four of the Voodoo Pins are 3" long. One Pin with the Damballa Serpent on it is 2 1/2" long.
This one pin is believed to be critical to the beliefs in Voodoo.
Damballa is believed to be one of the most important of all the Loa spirits in the Haitina and Louisana Voodoo traditions.
He is depicted as a serpent who forms the arch of the heavens.
He rules the mind and intellect of people.
Damballa is seen as a silver white serpent.
It is believed Damballah Nan Flambo - Damballa of the Flame- speaks through Flames and fire.
The Skulls, Serpent and bead caps are metal and the beads are glass.
All silver tone is lead free metal.
