Description
This Bostonian, traditional and classic Castle Crawford has a black cast iron finish with beautiful nickel trim. This is a 'top of the line' antique stove that was originally fueled by wood/coal.
It was converted to burn PROPANE and was used primarily as a supplementary heat source in a kitchen.
It has 6 burners, a large oven, warming drawer, and two bottom storage compartments.
There are also 3 shelves - one larger one on top and 2 small ones below (see photos).
The nickel trim can be found at the front of the stove top, at the front of each of the 3 shelves, as well as the 2 handles.
There is also an orginal, nickel trivet which sits on top.
It measures approx. 56" wide, 30" deep and 56.5" tall.
It comes apart in sections - the base, the middle and the top.
Charm and character abound in this piece of history - it is truly special!
Due to the weight and size, this must be picked up by professionals.
