The featured item represents an antique art glass vase by Kralik that measures approximately 7" tall, 5 3/8" across the top and 4" in diameter at the base.
The vase has three  pinches sides and comes in blue matt color and finished in what is knows as "Silberiris Glatt", a soft kind of iridescence.
Loetz produced a bright metallic iridescence vessels rolled in powdered glass  and called it "Silberiris" and had used the word "Glatt" to mark non-metallic iridescence.
The surface of the vase is decorated with what is known as "Croc"  crackles because of the resemblance with the crocodile skin.  The vase is considered to be RARE because Kralik "Croc" crackle usually appears in transparent colored glass, but not in a heavy matt blue!
The item comes in well-preserved condition for its age with no major damages like cracks, broken pieces or repairs. Normal vintage wear like small scuffs, marks and scratches here and there as well as some small production flaws and imperfections.VALIGN="top" ALIGN="center">>
