Here is a wonderfully preserved F. M. Lupton's softbound book entitled The Mystic Oracle or, The Complete Fortune-Teller and Witches Dream Book published by I. & M. Ottenheimer of Baltimore, MD.  in 1894. Ottenheimer Publishers, Inc. was a Baltimore, Maryland, founded in 1890 by brothers Isaac and Moses Ottenheimer while they were both still in their teens. .
The paper bound book covers a wide variety of topics including zodiacology, metragrammatism (art of fortune telling by transposition of names), chiromancy (palm reading), naeviology (foretelling the future using various marks or signs on the skin i.e. moles, etc.), physiognomy (prognostics drawn from the facial features, hair color and style, etc.), cardiology (with cards, dice, and dominoes), foretelling future events using charms, spells, and incantations, oneirology (dream interpretation to foretell the future), the Oraculum or Book of Fate: consulted by Napoleon Bonaparte which includes several pages of a chart one uses to interpret one's results.
A better copy than any I have found in my research. Rare and desirable for display or use, a collectors dream....no pun intended.
Original cream wraps printed in red and black with a fantastic graphic of what appears to be a witch, fortune teller advising a young women with a  spider and its web in the background.
This shows some minor tattered edges to front cover. A small tear at top of spine. Interior very nice and tight but toned due to age. Page 18 & 19 have penciled notes and I am leaving a piece of separate paper toward the back with personal dictation of the previous owner who obviously took the books contents very seriously. Owners name is inside front cover as can be seen in second photo.
