    Description

    Here's an antique Single Burner Alcohol Stove made in France.  Probably made for a quick cup of coffee and I've also seen these referred to as "Pigeon" or "Liquor" stoves.  I believe it's pre-WW2.  Tin tank and handle with 3 upright steel stove rests.  Stamped on each one is: MODELE DEPOSE A.V.   Brass burner with wick.  Screw-on cap to extinguish and keep from drying out.  This stove needs some tinkering as I can't seem to get it to burn continuously.  Maybe needs a new wick?  It was repainted in high temp Bronze paint.    Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.
