Vintage Griswold stove damper...this is an early one with a wooden handle insert
Marked with information on both sides....
One side actually has patent #s stamped into the metal (see pics)
The original casts on these was rough as you can see by the pictures....edges were
not always precised, etc.
The pictures do a much better job of describing this item than I ever could and they are considered part of the description
